Al Masqati Fined 500 Dinars

The President of the unlicensed Bahrain Youth Society for Human Rights Mohammed Al Masqati was fined 500 Dinars for working in an unlicensed society. Al Masqati commented on the issue by saying that the verdict contradicts the civil and political rights guaranteed by the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights which Bahrain joined.
