On 18-21 June 2010, the Bahrain Society for Human Rights organised
a workshop to develop skills in the field of monitoring and documenting
human rights violations. The Secretary General Abdullah Al Derazi

in protecting human rights, and help in implementing international
human rights standards. This in addition to taking legal procedures
against violations and referring them to court, spreading awareness,
providing protection for victims and providing an early warning
system with regards to violations that may occur. A number of Arab
experts participated in the workshop, among them Dr. Haytham Al
Manaa from the Arab Committee for Human Rights and Nina Ata Allah
