Calls to Lift Restrictions on Community Work
During a meeting held in the Alumni Club regarding the Forum
for the Future, civil society organizations called for the activation
of the youth strategy and youth parliament, in addition to lifting
the restrictions imposed on civil society organizations. The meeting
was initiated by the Bahraini Transparency Society on behalf of
the Forum for the Future. The participants discussed several issues
including censorship, education curriculums, the effect of globalization
and other social issues. The meeting stressed the need to accelerate
the democratic action inside political parties, encouraging the
participation of youth and improving youth communication through
the use of technology.
